Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to SAFTAY, a travel intelligence service that prepares informational Travel Intelligence Briefs about places you may stay. By creating an account, purchasing a Brief or SAFTAY+ membership, or using the service, you agree to these terms.

What SAFTAY provides

SAFTAY prepares context about a searched place using available third-party and public data sources. A Brief is informational only. It is not a guarantee of safety, not a booking recommendation, and not a substitute for your own judgment, local advice, or emergency services.

Source availability varies by place and time. Data may be incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or imprecise. Geographic search precision also varies (for example, an exact address versus a city, ZIP, neighborhood, or landmark). Crime or other safety-related chapters are included only when the corresponding sources are available for that place; they are not always present.

Accounts and access

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential. One-time purchases (Single Safety Brief, Trip Pack, and Additional Safety Brief where eligible) and SAFTAY+ membership grant limited rights to start preparation of Briefs under our purchase terms. Access controls never change the underlying evidence or conclusions of a prepared Brief.

Acceptable use

You may not use SAFTAY to:

  • Harass, discriminate against, or target individuals or groups
  • Bypass access controls, rate limits, or payment requirements
  • Misrepresent Briefs as official government advice or emergency guidance
  • Scrape, resell, or redistribute Briefs without our written permission

Payments

One-time purchases and SAFTAY+ subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe, not stored by SAFTAY. Fulfillment of a purchase or paid membership cycle is confirmed by a verified payment webhook, not by the browser success redirect alone. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SAFTAY and its operators are not liable for decisions you make based on a Brief, for unavailable sources, or for losses arising from travel, lodging, or personal safety choices. See also the Safety & Data Disclaimer.
